A 1905 hand-colored engraving by artist George Wright (1860 – 1942, Leeds England) titled “The First of November” depicts an equestrian party traveling a dirt path lined by a white rail fence. This large print is truly a vintage item, not a recent reproduction. The artist's name is George Wright and the title is 'The First of November'. It depicts a large party of riders (men, women, and one little girl) in Edwardian dress, setting out on a Winter morning. It is printed on heavily embossed paper and has an elegant, almost chalky, matte finish. Slight nicks in the frame - Art in pristine condition.
