About our Logo
When meeting with our graphics artist to create a new logo, we wanted something straightforward that reflected the nature of our art. The two main points we wanted to make were photography and painting. We believe that the two elements in our logo reflect that:
1. The lens aperture and the paint swirling around the lens.
2. The text is a simple playful font that is just our name. While we certainly carry far more than canvas, canvas was what we offered when we first opened our store almost 10 years ago.
Many of our offerings combine photography and painting, and some incorporate digital modification, while others are entirely digitally created.
